The Virgin Islands Continuum of Care (VI-500 CoC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization designated by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to coordinate the territory’s efforts to prevent and end homelessness by fostering collaboration among service providers, government agencies, nonprofits, and community partners. What is a Continuum of Care (CoC)?
The Virgin Islands Continuum of Care (VI-500 CoC) is a HUD-designated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that leads the U.S. Virgin Islands’ coordinated response to prevent and end homelessness. Through collaboration with government agencies, nonprofit organizations, housing providers, healthcare partners, and community stakeholders, the VI-500 CoC works to expand access to safe, stable housing, strengthen supportive services, promote data-driven planning, and improve outcomes for individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
